Take A Manic Depression Test If You Think You Have a
Problem
When most people think of depression,
they think of someone sitting in the dark, listening to slow,
sad music while they contemplate running away, quitting their
job or, worse, taking their own life. However, what if you
think you’re depressed but you can’t control your actions? What
if you’re not down in the dumps at all but instead are acting
out beyond your control? What if you’re constantly getting into
fights or you’re going on these shopping sprees you can’t
possibly pay for? If you’re more up than down and you feel as
though you’re still depressed, you may have manic depression.
To be sure, however, you must make an appointment with a
professional so that he or she can administer a clinical
depression test. When you take the test, and the signs point to
manic depression, the professional will likely follow that test
up with a manic depression test. This is the only way to
accurate diagnose someone with manic depression so that
treatment can begin.
Ruined Relationships
People who receive a positive result on their manic
depression test already know something is wrong with them.
People with manic depression often alienate their friends and
family and they cause a huge rift between all other people they
once held dear. This leaves the person with manic depression
alone most of the time, and this just exacerbates their
depression. You would think someone who is depressed would want
everyone they know and trust right at hand so they could help
the person back up, but the person with manic depression often
can’t help him or herself. They lash out because of their
depression and before they know it they’ve ruined another
relationship.
Credit Cards
People who get a positive on their manic depression test
also often have huge amounts of debt. When someone is manic
depressive, they will often seek to fill the void they feel by
going out shopping. It’s not uncommon for people with severe
cases of manic depression to go out and get a car, or a boat,
or to just spend loads of money on clothes or groceries. Of
course this doesn’t actually fill the void they feel and it
just succeeds in creating a bigger void, which that person will
then try to fill by spending more money. This creates a
horrible chain reaction that often leads to bankruptcy and
feelings of worthlessness. But the person may not know they’re
doing anything wrong until they take a manic depression test
and find they actually do have a problem.
The only way to get past these feelings, and to alleviate
the situations such as the ones above, is to take a manic
depression test. Only then will you know if you truly have it
and then treatment can begin. Treatment won’t be easy but it’s
necessary so that you can get your life back on track and
hopefully you can regain some of those relationships you lost
during your manic depressive state.
